Hazel T Meda taught high school French in the United States, Uganda and Swaziland before undertaking a journalism degree at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa.  She is especially interested in writing about social issues and ordinary people. Hazel’s hobbies are reading, listening to current affairs programmes on the radio, watching documentaries, travelling and learning languages. She speaks fluent English, French and Shona; intermediate Spanish and basic Portuguese.
